Righteousness in Jesus

Righteousness! "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, they shall be satisfied." We are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

In this season, I am hungering and thirsting after righteousness. Jesus has covered me, cloaked me, wrapped me completely in His righteousness.  There is a warmth and a certainty in His righteousness.

In this season I long for congruity, for the unification of mind, heart and spirit in this truth. In Jesus, I am righteous. There is no more or less...it is wholly, perfectly, the righteousness of Jesus.

Holy Spirit, I ask for Your work, Your wondrous creativity, that can transform a heart, "rewire" a  mind, and cause them to beat together in a holy rhythm.

Spirit of the living God, bring this truth to life in me... in us. Cause it to permeate thought processes. Strengthen it within so it is active, influencing decisions made. The very righteousness of Jesus evident, offering living, vibrant testimony to the grace of our Lord.
